KUNDALINI YOGA
as taught by Yogi Bhajan

Come and practise the exalting experience of Kundalini Yoga, the ancient art of Yoga packaged in a very modern, dynamic and exciting form with blissful meditations, beautiful music, chanting, physical exercise and deep relaxation.

I came across this type of Yoga in the USA in 1982 whilst I was living there and was a student of Yogi Bhajan and learned Kundalini Yoga from many of his teachers. I became a Kundalini yoga teacher myself in the 1990s. My spiritual name is Guru Sahai Kaur given to me by Yogi Bhajan the Siri Singh Sahib of the Sikh dharma in the West until the time of his death and the Mahan Tantric. This name means a Princess who helps the Guru.

The Guru is not a person. The Guru is a holy book, the collection of teachings of the lifetimes of the 10 Sikh gurus. After the 10th there no more gurus. It was all contained in a book. This is what the title guru refers to. The book basically says recite the names of God (the creative principle), meditate on them before dawn and recite the prayers. Not just for the self but for all others.

Kundalini Yoga consists of asanas or Yoga postures performed in sets, known as Kriyas designed to arouse the Kundalini energy and heal ourselves. It is a completely safe practise and has many health and spiritual benefits, restoring energy and bringing deep sense of peace to those who practise.

On weekends we will rise early and do Sadhana. This is the spiritual practice that eliminates suffering. We need assiduous practice to become enlightened.

POLYNESIAN MASSAGE

A unique opportunity to benefit from one of the practical healing arts within the Huna philosophy, as found within the Polynesian triangle of the South Seas, an area of 3000 islands boundaried by Hawaii to the North, Easter Island to the East and New Zealand to the South.

The Huna philosophy is based on the interconnectedness of life and the Power of Love as a healing energy from the Creator.

Polynesian massage, unlike Eastern and Western systems is a dance form of massage, an active meditation for both giver and receiver, based on an ancient traditional temple massage known as Lomi-Lomi in Hawaii (Romi-Romi in New Zealand).

It is a very nurturing, rhythmically flowing massage, which is done mainly with the forearms. Clients are often left feeling a sense of wonder and reverence. It puts you in touch with the beauty and peace in the universe because the philosophy and the massage are so intertwined with the energy of unconditional love.

A session lasts approximately one and a half hours and takes place near Holne on Dartmoor, in a tranquil setting.
